Richards, Peter

Peter Richards began his musical training as a choirboy at Westminster Abbey and joined the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain playing the horn at the age of 15. After studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under Ifor James he began his professional career as a freelance horn player with many orchestras and ensembles in the UK.

Peter counts it a privilege to be a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, performing all over the world with many world renowned conductors and soloists throughout his working life. In addition he devotes a significant amount of time to playing the piano and teaching, as well as composing and arranging.
