Stuart, Mary

Mary Stuart graduated from the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music in 2004 and 2005 (respectively) with two first class degrees. During her studies she was awarded the Coulston Prize for Horn and the Goronwy Evans/Cecil Kidd Prize for Brass at the RNCM and Hargreaves Fund Prizes for academic achievement for each year of her study at the University of Manchester. Since graduating Mary has played with the major Northern orchestras and enjoys a varied freelance career as a horn player, brass teacher, arranger and organist.
